Continental Tyres experience?
Does anyone have any experience of Continental tyres on a 147? Specifically the Sport Contact?
My reason for asking is that I have these on the rear of my 147 and have no complaints about them there (they have outlasted two front sets of other brands, as expected of course). My last set of fronts (Toyo Proxes) were very good grip wise but have struggled to last 10K miles, and I'm not particularly hard on tyres (well, not too often!).
So I need to replace the fronts. I'm moving the now half worn Continentals from the rear to the front and whatever I get will go on the rear, but how are the Continentals likely to fare on the front, both in levels of wet weather grip and in longevity?
If they're any good I may be tempted to get them to replace the rears. Any ideas?
