Calling all suspension gurus

Hi everyone,
I have a 18 month old 156 Selespeed spotswagon. First set of tyres got 20k out of them. Then had steering wheel changed as leather fell off. New steering wheel replaced crooked, dealer adjusted tracking to sort our steering wheel. Now tyres are wearing on inside edge. First set of tyres wore evenly all the way across the tread. I ttok the car to a independent garage to have the tracking checked but NOT adjusted and they informed me the toe out was 6mm and according to there charts should be either 0 or -2. My question is what should it be. The independant garage was not sure of my vehical had "sport" suspension or standard. Needless to say the dealer has had it back today and "finds the tracking within limits" I did not agree. What do the experts say ?

I had mine done recently - it cost 70 for a full four wheel allignment and camber set - by Alfa - I am not sure what it should be but it certainly should NOT be 6 mm in or out - in my opinion!!!

156 GTA SW

Standard suspension;
Front toe out is 2 mm +/- 1

Sport Suspension;
Front toe 0 mm +/- 1

If you do not know whether you have a sportspack or not, have the toe-out set to 1 mm

Thanks everyone,

Now I have some figures to work with, hopefully I can get it all set up correctly.
