Air bag warning light - AGAIN

Does anyone know if the fabled 'disconnect the battery for an hour' to reset the electronics actually works ? I'm sick of taking my car back to the dreaded dealer to get the airbag warning light reset only for it to fail again a few weeks later.

It won't work if there is a break in the wiring !
That's what normally causes my 145QV light to come on eek!

Mine came one again, sigh yesterday. I am going to redo the airbag connectors -bridge over each connector by soldering a wire over it. Then take it to be reset....again... frown
