hey all sorry for the quick post back there.. was at school at the mo and couldnt write well wink
anyway its workin fine now
and i dont even have to use the hall sensor .. a teacher of mine advised me to leave all sensors alone, as i could damage the ECU
he said, rev counters should always use the negative side of the coil. well, thats what i had tried in the first place and it didnt work.
what i did now... i just put a 10k resistor across the signal input (from the coil) and hey, it works fine
(up to 5,500 rpm it does anyway, dunno after that!
so thanks all... will have to find for sure where and how to install it now wink .. then i'll see how to design the rest of the PCB
