Well there I was, all smug with a fresh new 12 months MOT, new suspension, brakes, 17" wheels and NO PROBLEMS WHAT SO EVER...
This fairytale lasted all of 1 day until I managed to drain the battery whist charging my phone (I had lost my other charger). No problem I thought, it is parked on a hill, I'll just bump start it!
She roared into life but with an unwelcome addition to the dash, the airbag warning light
No problem I thought, it must be something to do with the bump start, I will just bump start it again to cancel whatever just happened! BAD IDEA... The second start brought ANOTHER f**king warning light! ARGHH!
The dilemma: Should I try another bump start in hope it would reset everything or would the dashboard continue to illuminate, maybe exponentially this time?????
The conclusion I came to was to bump start the car again, but this time with a subtle twist... In reverse! Ha, take that Alfa!
I'm now back to just the airbag light and I understand this needs to be reset by an Alfa dealer? I am reasonably savvy with computers, is there any way to do this myself? Do I need a special cable?
