Might be. First difference is of course a 3drs or a 5 drs. Next wheels. Then power. My biggest difference was the throttle with the respons (power) I had the feeling the 16V has more "boost". Feelable by being pressed into the chair. I missed that a bit in the chipped 8V. But the 8V has more sensitive response on the gas.

But yep, your 16v (to me) felt more "solid", more "massive". Mine feels a bit more "nervous". Well, I guess this is normal. Your car should have more power
