GT Brakes - 4 pots? and the whole Lusso thing.....
I'm looking quite seriously at buying a GT with the 1.9 JTDM engine.
It may not be that fast, but if I brake late I can cover the ground quicker.
So in looking at several cars I have seen some with alloy 4 pot front calipers, and other cars with more basic iron 1 pot slider calipers.
The latter will have a smaller swept area, and is generally less efficient, so I want a car with the 4 pots.
So far the cars I have seen with them are nearly new Cloverleafs, but I cannot figure out if they are an option on Lusso or Q2 spec cars?
Or were they only previously standard on the V6 engined cars??
Next thing is the whole Turismo/Lusso spec thing. A dealer told me there was a standard spec GT with a big option list until later 2006, and only since then have the Turismo/Lusso names been used on this model. Is this right?
