Help power steering question!

The day before yesterday, the powersteering on my 156 decided to whine and get very heavy, so i open up the hood, looked for the powersteering reservoir, that should be full right? wrong!! it was empty so i fill it up which took 500ml of fluid to do this, also i could the the little filter down the hole, all was fine, drove about yesterday no problems, sound had gone, until i start her up this morning!, heavy steering is back! and so is that noise!!!, so i open her up again and there is fluid everywhere! looks like millions of tiny bubbles, is this new pump time or could i get away with just bleeding it?

many thanks

also if there is a guide to bleeding powersteering that would be most helpful!
