Alfa 147 CD Changer advice

I have searched the forum and found various posts about the blaupunkt 5or10disc changer or the Sony one with the special cable and I am confused on what I need.
I have an 147 with the connect nav + system and want a changer. What is the best one to get? From most accounts the blaupunkt is unreliable and jumpy and the sony seems like the one to go for but this special cable seems complicated.

I went to Halfords and they said Sony Sound on Top would do me fine but were not sure what model my head unit was so could not get the cable(muppets!)

I suppose I need to know, what is my head unit and what changer goes with it.
I am not really worried about mp3 discs although it would be nice(not essential).

Anybody? Anybody? Anybody?

thanks in advance

So which model is it with the big 5" colour screen, or does it not matter?
