Taking off the bottom wishbones are easy enough if you have the tools and a ball joint splitter. As I said, I replaced all 4 wishbones, so after taking off the lower, the top one was a doddle to do.
That said, getting the lower wishbone back on was a wee bit stressful, lining up the various holes and bolts took a bit of leverage and jacking and moments of, 'it will never fit'!!! That said, it is very satisfying to do and driving the car without bangs and squeaks is very good. If you take your time, it is worthwhile.
I had to replace an inner CV boot as well, but after doing the job, I would be quite happy to try other work.
