Autodelta, an advanced form of torture

Work is a bit slow this afternoon, so I have a little browse of the Autodelta website. I don't really understand the motivation behind modifying cars, I must admit, so your guess is as good as mine as to why I looked at the 166 engine tuning page. I have found out that for the princely sum of 6,750 (about what my car is worth), Autodelta will kindly bore it out to a 3.5 litre 302bhp monster. Wow.

Then, I start to browse the 156 engine tuning pages and find out that they can take a GTA to 314bhp for the same princely sum.

Then, it all goes horribly wrong. I start to think that if you take one year old 147GTA, add one Autodelta 314bhp conversion, stir consistently over a moderate heat, and voila, one hell of a car for about 20k.

Damn, I was soooo happy with my 166 and my current level of debt.

ps: If anyone buys a 147GTA, and in say a years time decides that it is too small and too costly, do feel free to get in touch.
