166 suspension

Can any one tell me which rear suspension bushes cause the waddle effect when going over bumps. Is it just a bush change or does it require complete assembly changes including bushes.

You will need to replace the lower wishbone bushes that are bolted to the crossmember and the forward connecting rod bushes, that go from the lower wishbone to the anchor point near the rear jacking position.

But are'nt those bushes bonded into the rear wish bone assembly. Can you just replace the bushes? If so any part numbers?

Inspected the bushes today looks like they are worn out. I found out that the bushes can be removed. I wonder if the bushes used on later cars are any stronger or if powerflex bushes are available for the 166. More investigation required!
