The air filter box is very easy to work on. Its a bit tight but should be easy enough to change the filter.
First, disconnect the hose at the top of the filter by releasing the clip.
Second, remove the 3 bolts that hold the top of the filter box on.
Third, you might need to move to one side the relay holder which is in front of the battery. This is held on with two 10mm bolts which are a little fiddly to get out.
Finally, pull up the top of the air filter box and replace the filter. Some performance filters are closed at the bottom unlike the standard Alfa filter which is open both ends.
