High level brake light bulb

One of the bulbs in the high level brake light unit mounted on the rear parcel shelf was not working. Today i changed it as follows, Remove the two rubber access covers on the light unit. Loosen the two 2.5 mm allen head screws.(in the manual it does'nt say they are allen screws)Lift the light unit up slightly at the front until you can get your fingers underneath it. Pull the unit towards you until it unclips its self from the front. Tilt the unit up until you can see the connector on the right. On my car the wiring loom was very short and i had to use a small flat blade screwdriver to release the connector from the holder.
With the light unit removed then remove the two screws either side of the red bulb array lens. Remove the bulb array lens. On the underneath of the lens is foam and using a sharp blade cut the foam down the centre. Remove the four screws on the back and pull the red lens away from the bulb base.
Replace the faulty bulb(s)(2.3w type A)and reverse the strip procedure.

While the unit is out you can clean the glass which normally you can not get to in front of the light unit.
