Had the car serviced at the weekend and the service sheet said 6mm tread remaining on front tyres. I thought that was a bit much as they are nearly down to the wear indicators and I have already priced up replacements.
Parked up at work today and I usually straighten up the wheel but today left it with nearly full lock applied. What did I see? Both front tyres are nearly bold for the first inch or so on the inside edge. eek!
I want to get it four wheel aligned ASAP!!
I live a fair way from Alfa dealers so rang round the ATS type bigger tyre firms who have four wheel laser trackers but none of them have done a 156 before. They are all saying bring it in and we will have a look at it which doesn't fill me with confidence.
So if I decide to chance it I need some info please.
Are the castor and camber angles adjustable or are they fixed?
Is Toe in/out adjustable on the rear wheels?
Where should the adjustment be made to adjust toe in/out on the front wheels?
I have had a look at the front suspension layout isn't straight forward.
Thanks in advance for any help.
