Blowing Fuse

My sportwagon had no reverse lights when I bought it, having investigated I found the fuse had blown (it also affected the stereo) replaced the fuse last night and it seamed fine and as a bonus i found that I had working reverse parking sensors! My happiness only lasted a moment as the fuse popped again as I set off this morning. I figure that the reverse sensors are an aftermarket thing and could be prime suspect for the fuse blowing, has anyone else had a similar problem ?

Re: Blowing Fuse

did the fuse only blow when you selected reverse?

if so the 'last thing' worke don would be my guess .... *****ered wiring loom to make the parking sensors work or else a defective switch on the gearbox.
