We are getting fooled here, and i wont do them the honor to buy an Italian car again. If they fail as a car manufacturer (and they will unless they are bought by GM) , its their own responsibility. They are too stupid to stand on their own. They offer gorgeous cars with bad reliability and worse customer care, not many customers accept this, since the competition offers more benefits to the customers. I bet nobody from AR Italy visited this (or any Alfa related) forum, to see what are the real problems, they are probably hiding under their desks, playing with their new train-toy.

this is only a matter of opinion of course, but in this case i'm afraid i cannot agree 100% with you. i know we are being fooled in a way (in your case, in MANY ways
), but still... you are getting something in return IMO. and we all know what that is.
so if you buy a toyota you won't have any problems, but come on, can you sincerely say that you prefer to have a toyota cause it will probably have less problems? i cannot say i will. and in my case i am now driving a very reliable car as my everyday-driver (as you know). sure it doesnt rattle, sure i can rely on it, sure it's cheap to maintain, but personally, you can give me a 33, 145 or 155 any day. they are cars which make you want to drive fast, make you feel younger according to my dad
other (reliable) cars make you feel more mature, more grown up, thus making you drive slower etc etc etc... do you really want this? .. i dont
(but yes, i have to
by the way, what problems do you have now with the Bella? the manifold is now ok no? and even the steering (brake) noises are gone... so is your alfa now trouble-free or what?
please, please say it is
another btw: both these problem have now been fixed, so surely any other will also be fixed in due course? maybe you can go to your mechanic friend and analise them also, i dunno
