Car won't start - electric problem?

Anyone care to diagnose this problem.

just pwowered up a new HU. all working fine.

however when tried to start the engine, it's completely dead, nothing turning over at all.

all car electrics are fine, battery okay as checked with multi meter.

I've a feeling I've blown a fuse, don't know which one to check other than those below.

There are two maxi fuses for 'ignition switch'.

One is F03 (30Amp) in the Control box next to battery. I removed this and checked contuity - all okay.

Other is F73, the red coloured fuse held in place by retaining nuts on +ve terminal on battery. I didn't remove, but did a continuity across the the nuts on top, got the beep, however unsure if another path across these nuts asides from via the fuse exists, so unsure if fuse okay?

Anyone know what other fuses may cause ignition problem or know how a new HU could casue such a problem, if the HU itself is working fine?
