Re: Alfa Romeo 147 - Remote Key problem
I don't mind passing on the odd bit of advice and assistance, and frequently do, but there is a commercial aspect to some of this so I`m afraid I'm not going to write an enormous 'how-to'. It would be enormous too, as there are innumerable faults and situations to cover.
Nevertheless, noiseman is correct, the immobiliser 'chip' (could be a small glass capsule or a small, black, almost triangular lozenge) can simply be stuck back into the case, top left. Use some glue so you don't lose it a again. If the bit you have dislocated looks different to the above then you have dislodged something to do with the remote which will need a more 'professional' reattachment. Whatever you do, whatever it is, don't lose it!
caunter83 and TechyFilth, you can find information on how to repair your key on the forum but - no offence - I think by your posts you may need some help. Check the ebay link in the second post in this thread for more help.
