156 GearKnob

New to all this, just picked up my first Alfa. 156 TS. Nice car! I want to change the gearknob, but being a bit thick I cannot see how to remove the old one can anyone suggest how this is done, also is there an easy way of shortening the length of the gearstick? Thanks

Just yank it off, or take it apart with a stanley knife. Be aware though, if its a 6 speed version, as these cars have a reverse lock mechanism built into the gearknob.

Welcome aboard
