Every average toyotaguy would be driving an Alfa then, huh eek! eek! Absolutely No good!
I hope Alfa will keep sales figures low enough; it's my only chance to be able to drive a bit excentric and odd italian car - Ferraris, Lambos, Masers are all financially unreachable...
Besides, teutonic reliability is a big laugh, as real as Santa Claus! My most unreliable car ever has been VW Golf Diesel. Still hate it
but it gives me good laugh every time somebody tells me fairy tales of VW reliability laughing laughing
</strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Nobody said that VWs are reliable Pexi. But dont be so sure about Santa Claus. My neighboor has an ancient Honda Civic, 600.000kms on the clock and the only thing that broke down was a crack at the engine cooler.. have you ever seen an Alfa with half of these Kms on the clock?
and nobody asked for an Alfa with Honda reliability.. some decency is all we ask
. something that comes near to an Audi or a Skoda (what an irony!!!) not to mention the cheapest of all, Hyundai.... And dont start stories about Audis that had this or that problem that couldnt be solved blah blah blah.. we all know that Audis have problems, but they are the exception, not the rule. In Alfas, more than half of the new cars, have to visit the dealer many times for minor or major problems. The difference is that we are used to the idea "its Italian, it is supposed to get faulty" and most of us dont give a **** about it. the only important to many AlfaOwners is the looks. Well, not to all of us.
you like the idea that there arent many Alfas on the road, thus you are diffenert and fancy.. well dont be so sure that the rest people admire your car, if you start asking, the first answer you ll get is "so much money for a crap Fiat?? no way, not for me". they dont admire our cars Pexi, they prefer Audi TT instead of a Spider. If you got an Alfa for the others to admire you, i m sorry, you lose.. the only reason to buy and Alfa is for your own pleasure. Spider for example, many ppl admire it, but very few buy it, because they consider it a bad investment, you cant find anything that doesnt creak in the interior and its has the reliability of a Seicento (there are many people who expect to get a large amount back when they sell their car you know...).
So dont worry about ToyotaOwners buying Alfas, they ll never do that no matter how reliable our bellas become. They ll never believe it.
