Still vacuum next day?

I noticed that the vacuum at the Turbo adjuster is still present the next day after driving.

Now I wonder;

If the solenoid stops the vacuum to avoid over boost, but the “residual” vacuum stays in the system
how does it pull the Turbo back down then?

Should the solenoid not allow atmospheric pressure into the Turbo adjuster?

After all, where is the point in cutting the vacuum if nothing changes anyway?

Still fighting with the “Engine warning light on above 3000 RPM” issue.
