I don't know what the warranty policies are where you live.
Few years ago my cousin's Spider (T-spark) broke down from lack of oil (the car was already out of warranty) during a long journey. The damaged engine components had to be replaced, and it wasn't cheap to do that.
Maybe you can have the car inspected for any possible defects that may have caused high oil consumption. wink
