Re: What HD Clutch for 2.4 JTD ?

easy chaps easy!!!

so we do know that alfa themselves is to be avoided for the labour charge and the fact that they're own standard clutch won't hold the torque from a chipped 2.4 jtd, for long anyway!

so to stay on topic, are there any other recomended suppliers other than CG, possibly Valeo or agents of, etc etc etc

The release bearing and friction plate were both stock Valeo components though, so it wouldn't last any longer.. But then I only paid 130 which is what Alfa wanted for a stock JTD clutch anyway.
Well pricewise I paid 200 but I was using a 20% voucher Paypal sent me which made it 160 + P&P.
I did check the fingers which are also stamped Valeo, but I won't get the opportunity to compare until I change clutches. - Which won't be for a while as the clutch hasn't been slipping recently!
