Hi, I recently had my 2.4(W) 96k service and the following faults came up:
(1) Diesel pump (2) Coherence between phase signal and revs (3) Air flow meter (4) Supercharging pressure (VNT prob?).
Other parameters were shown as:
Engine Speed - 0RPM
Diesel Qty - 28.35 mg/injec
Main inj start - 0.42 deg/ang
Pilot inj start - 1533.51 deg/ang
EGR valve opening - 3%
Water Temp - 46.60 celsius
Engine startup allowed
Unfortunately, the garage didn't give much explanation on the possible fault causes: I know (1)+(4) can be very costly.
Searching this forum suggests a possible VNT issue and maybe changing the MAF and cleaning the EGR circuit and vacuum solenoid might solve some. However, to be honest, I feel well out of my depth and would sincerely appreciate any guidance on whether some of these problems could be related, whereby changing the MAF could solve other faults, etc.?
