Main beams

Hey Guys,

I recently replaced one of my sidelights, but this morning I noticed my main beams weren't working.

Both of them went together so I'm guessing its not a bulb issue.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

What should be on my checklist so I can further diagnose the problem?

Re: Main beams

Don't immediately discount the bulbs. I've had both go at the same time before - I guess the surge caused by the first one going can knock the other one out.

Re: Main beams

With the main beams, the problem is often that the earth wire from the bulb has fallen off of its connector.
There is one feed wire to the bulb and completely separate earth wire connected to the frame next to the bulb.
