suspension knock 156

At 94,000 miles we have noticed a noticeable knock when the front passenger wheel goes over a bump. Whats the most likely candidate?

Drop link?....control arm?...upper wishbone? . Its sounds quite low down and is quite a 'hollow' little knock definitely from the wheelarch area, but as ever, a demon to pinpoint.

I had similar problem when my antiroll bar was loose. it was knocking on the left shock absorber. had to change worn bushes (to polyurethane ones) to keep it in place

Re: suspension knock 156

Most likely cause is the upper wishbone balljoint, but you can't rule out ARBs, drop link, lower arms, shocks, wheel bearing, drivshaft or loose subframe, but as I said the upper arm is the most likely. Jack up that side and remove the wheel, grab the upright and wobble it, you'll feel it knocking if it is that.
