OK, so I was driving in the city last saturday.. in the snow as you can see, and on my terrific (NOT!) Bridgsestone Potenza RE040 17" tyres....
Suddenly, doing the tremendous speed record of 8 km/h, i decide to turn to the left, with the road changing direction et all wink .... and my friggen car decides it likes better to just go straight on! No worries i thought, this is not a high speed, what could happen???
So out of a reflex i gently touched the brake (i know... my mistake!) and then it started.. Alfa ABS FRENZY! clicketyclickclickclick.... and no stopping at all...
So my RF-wheel hit the sidewalk-band. I though "ouch... that's gonna leave a scratch on my rim!" so i drove on for 50 meters to get it off the tram rails, and decided to inspect the scratch... As it appeared then, my car suddenly remembered it was Italian, and that stuff should break on Italian cars! So i discovered my steering rod was broken, and that i could only steer my LF wheel!!
Complete and utter sh*t! Had to wait 2 hours for the tow-truck to take me away there...
