Diamond Bright Or Not?

I am eying up a 6 month old black 147 and my dealer (authorised) has offered to apply Diamond Bright free of charge.

They said that if I wanted the 6 year 'warranty' on it they would need to charge 100.

Hmn, as it is free, is it worth it? I have no idea how well they know how to apply the stuff. If I go for it, I gather I need to kepp it 'topped up' with appropriate conserver in the shampoo when washing.

Just wondering if that would be dearer that using Autoglym, Zymol etc myself?

I'd value opinions. If free (they started off offering 100 off the usual price of 400 but I get them to relent), is it too good to miss?

Re: Diamond Bright Or Not?

If it's free, don't go looking that gift horse in the mouth and all that.

What's this about if you want a 6 year warranty you have to have it applied? You sure he's not talking out of his ....?
