Hello, First message and I've a problem!

This is my first message having just joined a couple of hours ago, although I've had my Alfa GT now for nearly three years. My query is: Is the process for changing a side light in a GT the same as that for a 156? All I can see on the forum site is advice on changing the light in a 156. I looked at the lights set up under the hood over the weekend and tried following the instructions in the handbook but couldn't immediatley see how the side light was fitted into the assembly. The handbook is relatively useless...or it may be me! My other query is; Door handles. I've just had to have the drivers door handle replaced under warrant cause it 'sheared' off in my hand last weekend. Now today, I have noticed that the passenger side handle is 'stiffening' up ready to do the same. Am I unlucky, or is this a known problem on GT's? Any adice would be appreciated. Thanks, BizzyAlfa.
