Cambelt change?

OK so Im fast approaching 50,000KM which is approx 36,000miles and want to know what current advice is re: cambelts?

When should I get it changed and what other parts should be changed at the same time?

Thanks in advance.

I was recommended 48,000 miles as a maximum. I presume they will replace the pulleys the belt sits on too, as these can break up which has the same effect as the cam belt snapping. Certainly no harm in doing it early if you can raid the piggy bank!!

What about the age of the belt. My Selespeed is 3 years old but only 31,000 km. My Alfa dealer said something about belts at my last service. I think the age of the belt will have a big affect on when it should be changed.
