Hi, I have a 156 year - I have a really good head unit but the speakers are letting me down a bit now - anybody got any advice on changing the four door speakers >> Is it as hard as it looks, there doesnt seem to be any break in the door panel - do you have to strip the door right down - if so, how hard is this to do ??

I think you will find that the covers pop out,if you very carefully lever the edges. For replacements there are some Kenwood replacements in the Alfaowner shop.
Also have a look here www.caraudiodirect.com
There is an advice/forum section where you can ask technical questions.

I had a Sony upgrade fitted to my 145QV. They fit straight into the existing holes/grills. It was done by my dealer as it was an Alfa offer at the time. I had a Sony head unit, max capability 4 x 40W, and the factory fit speakers had a capability of about 6W...

My s/wagon has the Bose speakers and base box in the boot - both are Alfa upgrades. Can't recommend them enough. And the base box is such a neat factory fit. Blows my old-fart ears apart if I turn it up !
