SW's are a heavy car (without loading them up), and depending on style of driving, 11,000 miles may be getting near the end of the pads life. You can go for your 12,000 mile service plus/minus 1,000 miles, so maybe they can look then??
My 145QV front pads last 12,000 miles at a push, and they do get very grumbly!</strong><hr /></blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yep, got on my hands a knees in the dirt and learned how to use the supplied jack - I had to because I couldn't find anywhere for certain to stick the trolley jack !
The pads were about 7mm thick on both sides. The disks looked pretty good too. I did notice the off-side was stiff then loose as I turned it by hand - as if the disk was thicker in some parts than others - but I could turn it all the way so it can't be much. She is in the garage next week to find a major creak in the dashboard so I will get them to give her a once over.
