Tyres only Lasted 8K
Have had Bridgestone S03's on the front now for 13 months and the inside edge of both fronts have no tread and I am barely legal. Tyres have in the past lasted approx 15K, but this set only 8K. The car was misaligned (toed out instead of in at the front), and used to handle like a bag of sh*t. It is now much better apart from the lack of rubber (am thinking of claiming from Alfa for the cost of the tyres which have worn prematurely, possibly due to the crap alignment job done by the dealer).
2 questions really, has anyone had the same experience with Bridgestones?
Also am thinking of replacing with Pilot Sports as supposed to be more comfortable and will last longer, or alternatively will buy Conti's. Pilots are priced at £94 and Conti's £82, any comments/recommendations (have discounted Pirelli's as they go off too quickly and lose performance). Am really looking 4 best compromise between good grip rounds the bends, and comfort on long runs.
Suggestions gratefully received, car is a 2000 2.0ts with sp3.
