Just changed the main beam bulbs on the 156.. Extremely easy job, much easier than expected. Just make sure you keep an eye on which way round everything came off in the first place!
I also used my missus' small mirror which has a small degree of magnifying in it, helped a treat. On the passenger side I removed the small plastic cover (which doesn't really seem to cover anything of significance??) to give me a little more space. I also noticed that when changing the drivers side, whoever did it last time put the bulb in upside down and also put the cover on the wrong way too.... (It has a full Alfa history so lets hope it wasn't them!)
Tabs go at the top of the bulb.
There is no need to remove the bumper.
Took me around 30 mins to do both sides.
Here for a good time, not a long time..
