156 non starter help

help! my 156 1.6ts striped the teeth from its cam belt a few months ago and i have removed the head replaced all the valves and rebuilt it. it is now reassembled but wont start it has good compression it is getting fuel but i don't think its sparking any ideas? thanks

are all the sensor connected again...if the brown connector, TDC, is not connected then the hT system won't work.

Similarly if an earth is missing off the ecu or HT under the rocker cover that'll prevent it from firing too.

how much fuel is in the tank? ... if < 1/4 tank add more
is it parke don a hill? ... if on a hill, try it on the flat.

did you press the fuel cut off switch, located under the passengers seat.

It is also easy to damage the camshaft sensor, which is behind the cam pulley.
