Greetings from Thailand
I'm happy to have found this site and very useful forums. I have been driving a 156 T-Spark 2.0 since early 2000. I'm also running a website (see below) about it, and I still can't believe I didn't find this forum earlier!
Alfa is making a come back in Thailand since the previous distributor bailed out after the 1997 crisis. Now the operations are being handled by Fiat, and the local assembly of 156 Selespeed is being carried out at the local GM plant. The 156 Selespeed remains one of the best drivers' car in Thai market, and it's very reasonably priced.
Currently there are about 400 Alfa 156s around Bangkok with only several GTVs, 147, and 166. I'll be sure to bring any updates and issues from this end to the forum!
