if there isnt connectors their, the connector must have been for left hand drive and the wire must have been pulled back on itself into the floor under the seat, but for some reason its probably become proud above the floor and the seats been moved passed it or something, i had a similar problem, my airbag light went on and off if i moved the seats back and forth
So even though it's not connected to anything running the seat forward and back can cause this to happen?
Rarebear, I'm not sure there is a passenger sensor in the passenger seat, given how I managed to cut my knuckles all over and still not find the connection. You sure this would be on the older 156 models?
David C, I did a quick check on the passenger airbag deactivation switch. It was set to 'active', but switching it on/off does nothing for the dash lights.
My new OBDII cable's arrived now, so before I start wielding my cack-handed soldering skills at this one I'll plug it in with the Alfadiag demo and see what happens.
Thanks for the continued support everyone... I will get to the bottom of this!
EDIT: Excuse the angry face at the top, this is not aimed at you guys, it was meant to go after my last sentence (don't want anyone to think I'm biting the hands that feed me here)
