electrical problem 156

I recently changed the battrey on my 2.0 t-spark 156 all was fine for about 2 days but now the car is very hesitant on starting up and also the speedo keeps cutting out, is this possibly a fault with the alternator?

Re: electrical problem 156

do you ahve a multimeter or a volt meter?

with the engine running measure the voltage that is across the 2 terminals..... should be approx 13.8 volts if the alternator is charging fully.

could be just aloose connection at one of the 2 terminals... happene dot me a few weeks ago after i did a stat change, the + terminal came loose after a week of driving. I had to remove the spacer to get the clamp to close more tightly
