Help replacing a 147 1.6 TS with a 1.8, 2.0 TS engine

hello all just wondering whats involved in replacing a 1.6 TS with a 1.8 or a 2.0 TS my engine has suffer from cam belt failure its a 147 2003 model. i am finding it really hard to find a good 1.6 engine but have been offered loads of 1.8,2.0 engines at good prices and low mileage. is it just a straight swap using the 1.6 gearbox and will the new engine ecu need to be un-locked to get around the immobiliser? is the fuel pressure and pump the same? is the wiring the same? and what other things will i have to worry about? also are the 156 engines/wiring exactly the same as the 147 engines/wiring? thanks,

I'm finding differences. I've taken out a 1.6 with manual gearbox and putting in a 2.0 from a Selespeed car.
1. Clutch and gearbox are different. 2. Pipe connections to aircon compressor are different - the 2.0 engine is wider so the aircon hose has a sharper angle 3. Wiring loom different as there are extra sensors etc on the 2.0 engine. 4. Different hose connection to the plenum chamber just behind the throttle body

And there's bound to be more I have yet to discover as I haven't finished the conversion

The 2.0 ts block is much bigger as it has to accomodate balance shafts.

I have just noticed the date on the original post. Holy thread revival Batman!
