Re: Buckled 17" Alloy
Hiya, I recently had a buckled 17" selespeed repaired. The guy who did the repair had some special kit and lots of experience and said the worst thing to do was to have a go at fixing it yourself with a mallet or whatever. For my minor repair he heated the affected area, tapped it out and then ran it through his rolling jig. My repair took him less than an hour and cost me £30
While I was there another guy dropped off an alloy from a new Corvette, 19" or 20", bloody huge. Another buckle, but only about £45 to repair. Not bad considering the dealer wanted £800 to replace it.
You could try ringing round your local tyre fitters and see if they recommend anyone.
