4th gear shift 'sticky' - 147 2.0 Manual '05

Good evening all, have viewed from afar, tis time for my initial post.

I own and thoroughly enjoy a 2005, 2l, manual, 147 with approx 36k on the clock. During the journey to and from work today I experienced difficulty in changing in and out of 4th. The rest were ok albeit a little notchy which tends to occur during cold snaps.

I did a quick search on the forums here and it seems it could be related to gear linkage and require cleaning and bushing replacement. I wanted to gauge opinion before calling the garage in case it is something I can possibly resolve myself?

Many thanks in advance for any help, it is appreciated!

Have a good evening.
