Anyone fitted GTA FSD's to a non-GTA?

As I understand it, the fronts are the same but the rears are different due to a valve. I know there's been alot of talk about them, but what exatly is it that valve on the back does?!

Is it for adjusting them or something and if so, why?

Should it be ok with eibach pro kit springs on a non-GTA even though they are GTA shocks?

Will it still improve everything even though they're going onto a JTD and not a GTA? Weight at the back should be very similar surely.

I've just gone and brought them from larkspeed, but I'm now worried!!
