Dealing with liquid spillage on carpets
I am SUCH a gimp.
After a buffet at work I put the remains in the front footwell of my 156 JTS to drive home. To cut a long story short I now have half a litre of apple juice in the CREAM COLOURED carpet and footwell on the passenger side.
Mopped most of it up last night but there is still obviously lots there; the car fogged up on my drive into work which it never has done before.
I am SO angry with myself for not checking that the top was on properly.
Anyway, advice? I'm thinking drive it around on full heat for a day or so until the liquid has gone and then treat the carpet with some kind of cleaner. There is no stain but the sugary residue will make all kind of crap stick to the carpet.
What cleaner works on the light coloured carpets?
