Frosty mornings - door opening problem

I would like to ask you which substance you use to grease the window/door rubber when the winter is.
I really have a big problem sometimes with opening the Alfa Romeo GT's doors on the cold and frosty mornings.

Thank you in advance for your help!

You need Gummi-Pflege made by 1Z, available here or your friendly BMW dealer

Dare I say it but lube the inside of the rubbers with vasaline, works a treat or there are other silicone sprays you can use also as mentioned.

Re: Frosty mornings - door opening problem

I have had problems with the actual door buttons sticking in on my 156's, as well as the door sticking to the rubbers.

As they said, slicone spray or vaseline on the rubbers stops them sticking. I partly cure the sticking buttons and locks by squirting in WD-40

Yep had the sticking buttons on the 156 last winter. WD-40 was ok but only up to a point!
