Air filter advice

Do you know this air filter, is this one better than a paper one?
This filter is made of washable foam

Re: Air filter advice

I used to have a washable foam oil filter...on my lawnmower!

Does the foam filter make any particle size retention claims compared to a paper filter. And when the filter is washed, how do you establish that it is clean.

I, personally would not take the risk.

Re: Air filter advice

I use a K&N filter for 60.000 km now , washed and oiled it once.
No problems whatsoever, engine runs like new and has done now 125000 km... still does 230 on the meter.
