OK, I give up - I can't bleed the brakes on my 05 147..
I've never had the problem before. My back brakes were pretty knackered and the piston was out quite a way but I rewound it using a proper tool, got the new pads in and everything should be tickety boo (I did take the caliper off mind, but I've done it before with no hassle).
I tried both back calipers, then the front - nothing. There was no problem with the master cylinder when I started the job and of course I removed the reservoir cap when I was working on it. Just a trickle of fluid comes through when I depress the pedal.
I can't bleed the caliper via the hose because the hose twists and I'm worried about damaging it.
Somebody mentioned a valve which may have inverted - what's that about?
Any ideas anybody please?
