<strong>I don't know if any of you have experienced this, but its happened to me twice over the last 4 months....
Driving in 'City' mode, doing about 80kmh in 5th, shove the accelerator for a downshift approaching a corner and then braking, and the darned selespeed selects 'N' (City). Did someone program a hara-kiri manouvere into my Selespeed system?!

It's just that very rarely, if there is a lot of conflicting information being fed to the computer, occasionally it gets confused and is 'in-between' gears momentarily, yet still allowing the throttle to rev the engine. Twice (in 25000km of driving) when I've been behind someone approaching a roundabout (normally a Volvo driver in a hat) and progress has been very erratic (press throttle, brake, press throttle, brake, change gear etc etc, in quick succession), the Selespeed has been fooled so that when finally the idiot gets going, the gearbox is between 1st and 2nd yet the engine revs. Car remains stationary until revs have died down, then it goes into 1st. In normal beautiful, flowing Alfa-driving mode, no problem. wink
