You're missing the point - if the car hit a speed bump and broke the lip, it's not a warranty issue, is it?
If you drove into a lamp post you wouldn't expect your dealer to fix it for free (I hope!).
Alfa make their cars to meet homologation requirements in Europe. Some of these relate to the ground clearance of the car.
If it's impossible to drive over the speed bumps at the speed limit without damaging the car, then the speed hump (or those who placed it there) are liable for the damage. If you drive over at 200 km/h and it touches, then that's a different issue.
So, sue the local authorities or whoever owns the road. If everyone who ever lost a bit of car on a bump sued, then the safety police would think twice about crapping up the roads with those stupid lumps of tarmac and we'd all be better off.
