156 V6 cooling hose

Yesterday I had to bring my car to the shop because two days ago it overheated, and the engine bay was filled with vapour. It turns out that the hose that delivers the water to the engine block had a hole, and of course I ran out of water. Thank God that it happened on a short trip (though I floored it a lot ), so yesterday morning I took it to the dealer.

Thay changed that hose under warranty, but I had to pay for the clamps and the coolant because the factory won't cover that on the warranty.

The chief mechanic told me that the kind of clamp that the hose had was too sharp on the edges, and with the rocking movement of the engine, it may have cut it.

Be careful with that, unless you want a fried engine block... eek!
